Description

LIMITED EDITION LP INC. BONUS 12″ ‘STRINGS’ EP

Release Date: 25th March 2016

The 2nd LP from Brooklyn producer James Hinton and his Domino debut. For Potential Hinton plumbed the depths of YouTube for unknown artists to sample – in doing so he’s essentially found his guest appearances. While these found vocal loops amplify Potential’s grimier dubbier echoes Hinton’s beats draw from the skittish upbeat rhythms of footwork and jungle while his melodies are things of atmospheric beauty – reminiscent in places of Blue Sky Black Death or even James Blake. A joyous triumphant dance record!
