Top Tape come back with a third edition of the eternally killer debut outing from Amsterdam’s S.M. Nurse, originally from 1986. This is minimal wave incarnate and at its apogee, drum machines fired up and running to a spluttering click, guitars swirling and chopping, vocals dialed right into the heart/groin of the lusty night. People seemed to grow tired of this kind of thing a few years back, but unleash the Pernod, spark up the Gitanes and turn down the lights, and show me a purer vision of a Friday night. Flawless business, back on the format it was conceived for, ready for the sweltering summer sojorn you need.
