LIMITED EDITION TRANSPARENT VINYL 12″

Release Date: 12th July 2024

“Buzz-worthy post-punk outfit HighSchool continue theirascendant 2024 with the release of their highlyawaited second studio EP, ‘Accelerator’, available toindependent retailers pressed on transparent clearvinyl 12”. Collating singles ‘August 19’, ‘Doesn’t Matter’ and ‘SheTook You to Narnia’, HighSchool’s second EP buildsseamlessly on the sounds of their 2021 cult classicdebut, ‘Forever At Last’. Having spent the intervening years polishing their craftacross Melbourne and their adopted home of London,‘Accelerator’ was produced by rising producer FinnBillingham, mixed by GRAMMY-winning engineerPhilippe Weiss (Earl Sweatshirt, Nas, Drake) andmastered by Blur and Depeche Mode producer BenHillier. The resulting five-track collection is suffused withemotionally charged and elliptical songwriting, conjuring the tangible aura of the band’s post-punkforebears as filtered through a lens of contemporary lofi bedroom pop.”
